Join local jewelry maker Sarah Madeline for a time of creativity and connection in this Intro to Metal Stamping workshop!

Sarah will share her personal relationship with stamping—how she uses this process as a way to connect with words, moments, and meaning. You’ll have the chance to reflect on a word or short phrase that resonates with you, then learn the basics of metal stamping to create personalized keychains.

Metal stamping is a hands-on, slightly physical craft that involves hammering steel stamps into metal. Guests will work at wooden stumps on the ground and use a hammer to create each letter and design. Because of this, the workshop has a rhythmic hammering sound throughout and involves standing, movement, and light arm strength.

Your finished piece can adorn your keys, purse, water bottle, or be a gift for someone special!

About the Instructor:
Sarah Madeline is a Phoenix-based jeweler who has been creating jewelry since childhood, starting with beads and craft supplies before evolving into wire wrapping, beading, and metalsmithing. Her work blends organic, simple designs with formal techniques. She connects with her community through her Etsy shop, local markets, custom pieces, and now—workshops!
