Experience a rejuvenating spa ritual while learning simple techniques you can incorporate into your own self-care routine. In this guided workshop, guests will create a custom botanical spa tea blend and explore the relaxing benefits of facial steaming and Gua Sha massage.

Begin by blending a personalized spa tea, selecting from a variety of natural salts, dried botanicals, and essential oils. Laura will guide the group through a gentle facial steam session using your custom blend. Following the facial steam, guests will select Scrub Studio’s botanical face oils and hydra mist to use based on their skin type.

To complete the experience, you’ll learn the basics of Gua Sha, a traditional facial massage technique known for promoting circulation and relaxation. Laura will demonstrate simple techniques and guide you through using a Gua Sha tool to create a calming, rejuvenating facial massage.

Please Note: Guests should bring a medium-sized towel for the facial steam portion of the workshop. This session may not be suitable for those with very sensitive skin or sinus sensitivities.

About the Instructor:
Laura Alzubi is a local maker of vegan soap + skincare and sells these items through her company, Scrub Studio Soaps. Her background as a Forensic Scientist aids the creation of her recipes and formulas for each of her products. Running her studio is a full family affair involving her son and others!
